Irma the Danish supermarket chain started as a small grocery store selling eggs in Copenhagen. The chain is the second oldest groceries chain in the world. Now with over 70 stores it is very appropriate to be recognising them as the first retailer in Denmark committing to ensuring their ingredients will only use eggs from birds in cage free systems.
